Hose Making
Getting customers back up and running again when things go wrong has always been a priority for us at D H Marine.
Using the right components for hose assemblies is vital, because fit, performance and material selection significantly affect operational reliability. That's why we've teamed up with Hydroscand and invested in a dedicated hose making facility, complete with hose cutter and swaging machine, to make up a new hose assembly whilst you wait!
If it's out of normal hours and you need a hose in a hurry, you can contact our 24/7 emergency on call engineers and they will normally respond within 2 hours to get you out of a fix.
Using their knowledge and experience our dedicated team are able to provide advice if necessary, so you don’t leave without a solution.

Hose Testing
Along with our hose making capabilities we have invested in a pressure testing machine. It can test up to 43,000 psi (3,000 Bar) and can be used to test a range of fluid carrying components, including hoses, pipes, valves, cylinders and couplings. The max. component size is 1590mm x 795mm x370mm and there is no restriction on hose length.
The machine uses a water/oil emulsion to generate the pressure, and a digital control system allows for a variety of test parameters to be set, with a test certificate produced as evidence for assurance purposes.
And If You've Had a Hose Burst
We stock a range highly efficient spill kits, made up of a 100% organic absorbent called SORBXT. It can be used on any surface to clean up accidental spills- see here for more details
