RETAIL SHOP ASSISTANT / MARINE SAFETY TRAINEE TECHNICIAN
D H Marine is seeking an enthusiastic person to work in our retail shop and store with day to day duties dealing with customers enquiries and sales. This position also offers the opportunity to be trained to assist in our LSA department where full training shall be provided in the service of marine safety appliances such as life jackets, immersion suits and fire extinguishers.
The ideal candidate shall have previous sales experience, be computer literate and have good communication skills.
Working hours are Mon-Friday 0800 – 1700 and Saturday working on a rota basis from 0800 – 1400.

Retail Sales Assistant (Full Time)
The post would involve all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the shop & store, including dealing with customers, handling cash, receiving & unpacking orders, dealing with enquiries & ensuring the workplace is kept clean & tidy.
Candidates should have good communication skills, IT skills and previous retail experience would be preferred.
The hours would be Monday - Friday 8.00-17.00 with Saturdays 8.00-14.00 on a rota basis. Salary dependent on experience.

Electrical Apprentice (Closing Date - 21/04/23)
D H Marine are looking for a motivated individual to join our team of experienced electrical engineers. You would be working alongside our qualified electrical engineers while progressing through the college apprenticeship course to gain a SVQ level 3 in electrical installations in (Aberdeen or Inverness). You will be putting many of your skills learned within the course to practice with the help and support of our engineers.
The 4-year apprenticeships consists of a combination of college hours and on the job experience, leading to a final FICA test and an SVQ/NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installation.
It is a pre-condition of an apprenticeship offer that you must have passed the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust (SECTT) Pre-employment Assessment. To do this you must first register with SECTT, see www.sectt.org.uk and follow the instructions.
