DH Marine (Shetland) Ltd staff have recently gained competency in Hand Arm Vibration (HAVS) testing though Bureau Veritas.
We have the necessary vibration monitoring equipment and test rigs in place to carry out HAVS testing on powered hand tools and equipment for example:
- Pneumatic needle guns
- Electric/cordless drills
- Road breakers
- Grinders
- Lawn mowers etc, etc.
We also have tagging and certification management system in place to address the requirements of the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005. Our competent staff can provide advice and support to help companies and individuals assess the vibration risk to your employees. We can provide advice on how to introduce a programme of controls to eliminate risk, or reduce exposure to as low a level as is reasonably practicable.
