The dealership will cover the full range of Shindaiwa® machines currently available in the UK from the 165amp petrol driven up to the new 500amp diesel driven welder-generators.
Andy Munford, Director of Shindaiwa® in the UK stated that DH Marine (Shetland) Ltd was the type of company that had already established itself in the generator, light tower and electrical services market that gave a perfect partnership for Shindaiwa® in Shetland and Orkney.
Another factor in the dealership are the skills of its service engineers both electrical and mechanical which will provide an unparalleled product support on the islands.
DH Marine (Shetland) Ltd will be holding stock of new machines and will provide customers with the option to hire Shindaiwa® Welder Generators from its Hire Fleet.
The units available are the petrol engined ECO 165UK which offers a welding range of 40-165A and single-phase 110V CTE output of 2.5kVA.
The single-phase 3kVA-output model 200UK has a diesel engine and gives a 5-200A welding range
And the diesel ECO 300UK has a welding output of 35-300A and can provide a three-phase 415V supply at 8kVA, as well as single-phase 110V CTE 3kVA output.
All machines have auto-idle, and are designed 
for very low noise levels.
