Baltic UK assisted with our certification and we add their life jackets to the many other we service at our fully compliant and approved Life Saving Apparatus (LSA) service station workshop.
LSA is used by many different sectors. Some may have a statutory requirement for life jackets including commercial fishing, aquaculture and oil related vessels.
We also help other organisations such as boating clubs, rowing clubs or those heading out to sea just to enjoy a little rest, fun and recreation. We have access to the new Baltic range and their first ever inflatable life jacket designed for women. In order to get a better fit and a more slim vest, the valve is placed horizontally under the bust, combined with good adjustment possibilities it results in a neat and flexible model regardless of body shape.
Kids life jackets are designed to help the child into a safe back position with extra soft material throughout the vest. A slightly shorter fitting buoyancy aid that does not ride up when sitting down and has split front panels, makes it very comfortable. A selection of bright colours are also available.
In Shetland, you are never more than three miles from the sea so keeping everyone safe around water, whatever the environment, is a priority for us.
The Baltic range is now added to the Crewsaver, Mullion, Seago, Parmaris, Typhoon, Remploy, Kru, Challenger and Seasafe life jacket that we are certified to service.
Future plans include adding Baltic equipment within our retail shop range!
