Just arrived is yet another Cat C15 powered 500kVA generator for inclusion in our hire fleet.
This is the fourth 500kVA generator to be added to our fleet of generators and is seen here undergoing pre-hire checks, including circuit breaker testing and the fitment of a Chalwyn valve and spark arrestor for oil and gas industry compliance.
In December we also took delivery of our first 150kVA Generator (below)
Powered by a Cat C7.1 engine, this unit fits neatly into our line up of generators, complementing the six Cat C4.4 100kVA sets already working hard in our fleet.
Over the last couple of months our Technical Services team have been putting together a workpack containing cable and circuit protection calculations, together with installation details for a temporary backup power application for one of our oil & gas customers. This project has just been signed off and a new Cat C9 powered Tier 3 275kVA generator is due to arrive later this month.
On arrival in our workshop our electricians and engineers will prepare it for duty and then install, test and commission it on site.
